Twenty six episodes aired October 2, 1998 to March 26, 1999. The run moves from facade rivalry through sports festival and family meets to the 14 Days closing stretch. Early episodes rate near 8.7 without the late stretch. No sequel aired as of October 2026, with the manga running past the anime end.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 26 in order. The Anno to Tsurumaki handoff at episode 19 shifts style hard, expect recaps late. The 14 Days acts close the run across episodes 19 to 26. Manga continues past the anime. Start at act 1, the facade setup frames every romance after through the finale acts and recaps.
