Good to know
These are parallel retellings rather than one plot, so release order is a tour of versions. The 1965 run and 1966 film share footage, which is why the film can be skipped if you watch the series. Leo the Lion is the direct sequel to 1965, while 1989 restarts everything. The 1997 film is the darkest take and works best last. U.S. order was scrambled in the 1960s, so follow Japanese order.
