Lord of Mysteries adapts Cuttlefish That Loves Diving's web novel about Zhou Mingrui, who wakes as Klein Moretti in a Victorian world of steam, churches and occult Beyonder powers. Produced by Tencent with B.CMAY Pictures, the first season ran 13 episodes from June 28, 2025 on Crunchyroll.
A second season of 30 episodes adapting the Faceless volume is scheduled for 2027, with multi-season plans announced. The story is strictly linear, following Klein from his first Nighthawks case outward, so watch season one first. The English dub arrived July 2025 for viewers who prefer it over subtitles.
