About Lycoris Recoil
Lycoris Recoil follows Chisato and Takina as Lycoris agents posted to Cafe LycoReco. The 2022 season runs 13 episodes from Takina’s transfer through the Alan Institute plot to the tower finale. A-1 Pictures keeps the gun action close and the cafe scenes warm.
The 2023 web shorts add six small cafe stories outside the main plot. Friends are Thieves of Time from 2025 runs as six short films continuing daily life after the season. A new TV season and film project have been announced with no date as of September 2026, so the released set ends with the shorts and film series.
Good to know
Watch the 2022 season first, then the shorts and short films in release order. The shorts spoil character beats from late season 1, so they play poorly as a start. The 2025 short films assume the season ending, which makes them extras rather than an alternate entry. Save all shorts for after the finale on a first run.
