About Medalist
Medalist follows Inori, a young skater with little support, and Tsukasa, a former dancer turned coach who stakes his career on her. Season 1 ran thirteen episodes from January to March 2025 at studio ENGI and covered their first competitions together.
Season 2 ran nine episodes from January to March 2026 and pushed Inori into higher qualifying rounds. A theatrical film sequel opens February 19, 2027 in Japan with the All-Japan Novice arc. The manga by Tsurumaikada continues past all three, but the anime itself runs in one line.
Good to know
Release order is story order, so watch season 1, then season 2, then the 2027 film. There are no OVAs or recap movies to place around them.
