About Mononokean
The Morose Mononokean follows Ashiya and Abeno guiding demons across 13 episodes in 2016. Season 2 from 2019 runs 13 more into Legislator trials and Yahiko growth. Both seasons keep gentle clinic visits and underworld rules.
Watch season 1 first, then season 2, since the second run assumes clinic bonds. The Wazawa manga came first with longer demon cases. No third TV season breaks this chain as of this check. New viewers can start with the first entry for the cleanest introduction to the cast and rules around the clinic.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order worth listing because both seasons follow one clinic year in broadcast order. Season 1 sets Ashiya sight and Abeno duty across 13 episodes. Season 2 deepens Legislator courts across 13 more. Both total 26 episodes. The manga runs on with more cases, so treat the anime as a calm pause rather than a closed end.
