About My Melody
Onegai My Melody follows human Uta Yumeno befriending Sanrio's My Melody against Kuromi's notes. Season one from April 2005 runs 52 episodes setting violins and nightmares with Uta's family shop. Kuru Kuru Shuffle from 2006 runs 52 more with new instruments and the Piano prince.
Sukkiri from 2007 runs 52 with wish boxes, while Kirara from 2008 runs 52 to the star close. Studio Comet animates all four with the same voices throughout. No fifth TV run was made, so the 208 episodes plus a 2012 film short form the set.
Good to know
Watch the four in broadcast order since Tact pieces and Notes stack directly. Shuffle spoils the S1 violin end in its opener, so do not start there. Kuromi's motive stays comic throughout with no dark turn. Treat the 2008 finale as the planned close, with later Sanrio shorts as optional extras only.
