About Orb: On the Movements of the Earth
Orb adapts Uoto's manga about people who risk execution to prove Earth moves around the sun. Madhouse animated 25 episodes across two consecutive cours on NHK General, streaming worldwide on Netflix. The story passes its ideas from Rafal to Oczy to Badeni to Jolenta across decades.
The anime covers the complete eight-volume manga from 2020 to 2022. Episode 25 titled Question aired March 15, 2025 and ends the adaptation. No second season was announced and no source material remains, so any future entry would need to be anime original. Treat the 25 episodes as finished.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for Orb worth listing. The narrative already moves forward through generations in broadcast order, with each handoff dated in story. Watch episodes 1 through 25 straight. The first two episodes premiered together on October 5, 2024, which confuses some guides into listing a special. They are simply episodes 1 and 2.
