About Plastic Memories
Plastic Memories aired in 2015 from Doga Kobo about Tsukasa Mizugaki joining Terminal Service with android Isla to retrieve Giftia near their expiry. Early episodes set retrieval rules and partner bonds across the city, with each case showing how families part with androids.
Later episodes shift to Isla herself as her own limit nears, and the last run pays off jokes and promises from the start. The story is told in one straight line with no prequels or side films, so broadcast order is the only path that keeps the expiry countdown clear.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order worth listing since all 13 episodes run in sequence with no flashback arcs to reorder. Watch episodes 1 to 4 for setup, 5 to 9 for partner cases, then 10 to 13 for the closing run. The manga retells the same beats, so the anime alone covers the story fully. Plan extra time for finales, since later parts assume full knowledge of earlier twists.
