About Polymar
Hurricane Polymar aired from October 1974 with Takeshi Yoroi turning into Polymar with five helmet modes against Nova gangs. Tatsunoko ran 26 episodes to March 1975 with car chases, butler Joe and transforming bike stunts. The suit needs 46 seconds per change with drill and flight modes.
Hurricane Polymar Holy Blood from 1996 runs two OVA parts with a 1990s redesign and new voice cast on darker streets. No further run was made, so the TV plus OVA form the set. Each helmet grants drill, submarine or flight moves for missions.
Good to know
Watch the 1974 TV run before Holy Blood since the OVA replays the origin faster in minutes. The OVA spoils the TV boss fate early, so swapping ruins the detective arc badly. Suit time limits stay strict in both versions with Joe backup. Treat the pair as closed with no crossover to other Tatsunoko heroes beyond cameos.
