About RahXephon
RahXephon follows Ayato Kamina piloting the RahXephon for TERRA against Mu Dolem with Quon singing. The TV series runs 26 episodes from 2002 through Tokyo Jupiter to the tuning close. Pluralitas Concentio in 2003 retells the same war in feature length with new scenes and a shifted focus.
Watch the series first since the film assumes TERRA ranks and Dolem rules. The movie plays as a condensed alternate rather than a sequel, so treat it second on a first pass. The OVA interlude fits inside the TV run as an extra, with no sequel series dated since 2003.
Good to know
Broadcast order is story order with the film as alternate. The series sets music tuning slowly through missions, so give it six episodes before the Mu logic locks. The film cuts subplots for pace, which lands better once Ayato Quon bond is known. Treat Pluralitas as the current end with the TV close as canon and no further RahXephon pending.
