About SK8 the Infinity
SK8 the Infinity follows Reki Kyan and Langa Hasegawa racing the underground S downhill battles in Okinawa. Season one aired 12 episodes in winter 2021 from Bones, closing the Adam championship. The Extra Part OVA released in 2025 with side stories around the cast, and a second season was announced alongside it with no air date yet.
The manga adaptation and stage plays expand side matches but stay outside the anime plot. Bones keeps the same staff across both seasons, with the skating animation staying the draw over the tournament brackets.
Good to know
Watch season one first, then the Extra Part OVA as a breather, then season two in order, since the pro-circuit stakes assume the Adam fallout. The OVA spoils little but assumes affection for the whole S roster, which lands better after meeting them properly. Recaps can be skipped entirely on a first run.
