About Snow White with Red Hair
Shirayuki, a red haired apothecary from Tanbarun, flees Prince Raji's court and earns a place as a court herbalist in Clarines beside second prince Zen Wistalia. Studio Bones animated Sorata Akiduki's manga with Masahiro Ando directing and Deko Akao on scripts. Season one aired 12 episodes from July 6 to September 21, 2015, and season two aired 12 more from January 11 to March 28, 2016.
An OVA bundled with manga volume 15 on January 5, 2016 adapts chapter 41 and two volume bonus chapters that were never televised. It plays as self contained side stories rather than a bridge between seasons, so most viewers watch it after season two. No further anime has been announced, while the manga continues past 27 volumes.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order worth listing for this straight line romance. Release order and story order are the same list, with season two picking up directly after season one. The OVA holds bonus chapters outside the main arc, so watching it after both seasons keeps the momentum clean. Its January 2016 bundle date reflects publishing, not plot.
