About Spriggan
Spriggan pairs a 1998 film with a 2022 Netflix series around ARCAM artifacts. The 1998 film runs 90 minutes with Yu stopping Noah Ark use. The 2022 series runs six episodes with new artifact hunts and plate quests.
Both share Yu and ARCAM rules but not a strict chain, so either works alone. Watch the 1998 film first, then the 2022 series, since the show assumes artifact basics. The manga came first with longer digs. No second Netflix season breaks this chain as of this check. New viewers can start with the first entry for the cleanest introduction.
Good to know
Release order works as film then series with loose continuity. The 1998 film sets ARCAM seals and Yu duty in 90 minutes. The 2022 series runs six 45 minute hunts into new plates. Both close artifact arcs alone, so neither spoils beyond the known hunt shape. Start with 1998 for the first seal before the Netflix quests. The manga holds more digs behind both.
