About Sunrise

Sunrise opened its legend with Mobile Suit Gundam in 1979 about Amuro and White Base. Cowboy Bebop followed in 1998 with Spike hunting bounties to Yoko Kanno. Code Geass arrived in 2006 with Lelouch ordering the world masked, plus R2 closing in 2008.

Tiger and Bunny came in 2011 with hero sponsors, and Love Live in 2013 with school idols saving old schools. The works share mecha and gambits but separate plots except Geass two. Release order tracks the studio from war to idols well. The studio polls rank Bebop high while Geass splits on endings.

Good to know

Watch oldest to newest since each crew resets except Geass two linked ones. Gundam first gives the mecha grammar for all later runs. Bebop and Tiger pair as the bounty hero nights. Love Live closes as the idol turn. No single next flagship rules, so the 2013 idol run holds a fine pause point. The fan polls confirm the craft, so give Bebop full attention.
