About Takopi's Original Sin
Takopi's Original Sin adapts Taizan 5's manga about alien Takopi trying to save Shizuka with looping gadgets. Enishiya animated six episodes streaming June 28 to August 2, 2025 with TBS planning. The loops reset abuse and guilt with darker turns each time.
A compilation film titled Thank You, See You Tomorrow opens November 27, 2026 with the six episodes plus new scenes. No second season fits the closed manga. Watch episodes 1 through 6 first, then the film once it opens. The loops only track if you hold each reset in sequence.
Good to know
Release order equals story order, so watch episodes 1 through 6 in order. The six-episode ONA covers the full manga arc. The November 2026 film is a compilation with new cuts, not a sequel season, so it slots after episode 6. Finish episode 6 before film trailers, since late loops assume you know each reset and why Takopi keeps trying.
