About Tenjou Tenge
Tenjou Tenge follows Souichiro Nagi and Bob Makihara as they pick fights at Toudou Academy and get pulled into the feud between the Juken Club and the student council. The 24 episode Madhouse series from 2004 adapts the early manga, and the two part Ultimate Fight OVA continues directly after the finale.
The Past Chapter special is a long recap of the flashback material from the second half of the TV run with some extra footage. Watch it last as a supplement rather than in the middle, since it replays scenes you will have just seen.
Good to know
The main story runs TV episodes 1 to 24 into Ultimate Fight parts 1 and 2, so release order is story order and no alternate chronology is needed. The Past Chapter special is prequel material released last and works best as a recap after the OVA. The manga by Oh! Great finished in 2010 at 22 volumes and no new anime has been announced.
