About Uzumaki
Uzumaki aired September 29 to October 20, 2024 on Toonami as a four episode miniseries from Production IG USA. Kirie and Shuichi watch hair, pottery, and houses curl into spirals across Kurouzu. The run adapts Junji Ito's three volume manga in stark black and white.
A live action film from 2000 and two WonderSwan games exist but sit outside this anime list. No second anime season was announced. Watch episodes 1 through 4 straight, since the curse escalation from hair to town storm needs the slow build to land.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order worth listing. The town infection plays forward in broadcast order across four parts of about 25 minutes. The 2000 Higuchinsky film covers similar manga beats in live action and works as an extra after. Treat the 2024 anime as finished, with no follow up announced.
