About Zom 100
Zom 100 follows Akira Tendo escaping black company life into a zombie outbreak with a 100 item bucket list. The Bug Films anime ran 12 episodes from July to December 2023 on Netflix and Hulu with delays from production issues. The live action film with Eiji Akaso premiered August 2023 on Netflix as its own adaptation of Haro Aso's manga.
The manga continues past both versions with no second anime season announced as of 2026. The anime covers roughly the first stretch of the list with Kencho, Shizuka and Beatrix joining. Watch the anime as the main path, then treat the film as an alternate telling of the same setup.
Good to know
Watch the anime series first, since it is the fuller version of the early list. The film compresses the same premise with different casting and pacing, so it works as a comparative extra rather than a sequel. The bucket list structure rewards the longer anime runtime. A second anime season is unannounced, so the 2023 run is the current endpoint.
