About Bakugan
Bakugan Battle Brawlers ran 52 episodes in 2007 to 2008 in Japan, with the English run starting February 2008. New Vestroia, Gundalian Invaders and Mechtanium Surge continued the original Dan story through 2012 for 137 more episodes. Two Japan only Baku Tech series ran in 2012 and 2013.
Battle Planet rebooted the brand in 2018 with five seasons and 169 episodes through Legends in 2023. A second reboot ran one season from September 2023 on Netflix and Disney XD. A live action film with Brad Peyton was reported in 2025 and remains in development with no date.
Good to know
The three eras do not connect. The original 2007 run, Battle Planet and the 2023 reboot each restart with a new Dan and new rules, so watch each era from its own start. Release order keeps the eras straight. The live action film has no release date as of September 2026, so it sits outside the list until it is real.
