About Berenstain Bears
Berenstain Bears adapts Stan and Jan books about Papa, Mama, Brother and Sister in Bear Country. The Hanna Barbera Australia run aired September 1985 to December 1986 on CBS for 26 half hours, or 52 shorts, with Papa as comic relief and Raffish Ralph foils. The Nelvana run premiered September 2002 for 40 episodes on Treehouse and PBS Kids, with calmer Papa and modern lessons.
