About Black Dynamite
Black Dynamite is the adult animated blaxploitation parody developed by Carl Jones for Adult Swim, based on the 2009 film with Michael Jai White returning to voice the lead. An 11-minute pilot debuted on Adult Swim Video on August 8, 2011, and the full series ran from July 15, 2012 to January 10, 2015 with two seasons and 20 episodes.
The series follows an alternate continuity from the film, so no movie viewing is required first. Season 1 covers the 2012 run and Season 2 covers 2014 to 2015. Watch the pilot first for setup, then the two seasons in release order for the complete story.
