About Camp Lakebottom
Camp Lakebottom follows McGee, Gretchen and Squirt, who take the wrong bus to a haunted swamp camp run by Sawyer the zombie counselor. With rival camp Sunny Smiles across the lake, each episode pairs a merit-badge quest with a monster attack. The Teletoon series aired from 2013 to 2017.
Early episodes establish the bottomless lake, the talking totem and the camp rules. Middle chapters add the Socktopus, the eco-villains and the parents' visit episodes that reuse earlier scares. Later seasons close with camp competitions that assume knowledge of every monster friend. The scares repeat with new twists, rewarding order.
Good to know
Watch in broadcast order. The show is episodic, but Sawyer's backstory and the Sunny Smiles feud progress across seasons. There is no alternate chronology, since summer camp only moves forward. Kids can jump to favorite monsters once they know the trio, yet the finale competition lands better after the full rivalry buildup.
