About Felix the Cat
Felix the Cat began in silent-era shorts before Joe Oriolo's 1958 TV series ran 260 shorts with the magic bag and Poindexter. The Twisted Tales (1988) modernized the cat for 21 episodes, and Baby Felix (2000) ran 65 episodes in Japan around the younger cast. Felix the Cat: The Movie (1988) tells its own Oriana adventure apart.
Each version resets Felix, the Professor and Rock Bottom with no shared timeline, so every run starts clean for its audience. No new series has been announced beyond the strip and merch runs, leaving the bag quiet on screen.
Good to know
Start with the 1958 run for the classic bag formula, then the Twisted Tales as the modern take with longer stories and sharper gags. Baby Felix works after as its own younger-cast run with no required placement in the timeline. The 1988 movie fits anywhere as a standalone Oriana trip rather than a series chapter.
