About Flintstones
The Flintstones began with Hanna-Barbera in 1960 about Fred Flintstone's stone-age family with the Rubbles next door in Bedrock. The original ran 166 episodes to 1966 with Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm growing up on screen. The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show, the Comedy Hour and the 1994 live-action film with John Goodman extend the town.
Each version resets the quarry gags with no shared timeline beyond the families, so every run starts clean. The 2000 Viva Rock Vegas prequel retells the romance years as its own telling rather than a series chapter.
