About Hello Kitty
Hello Kitty animation starts with Furry Tale Theater in 1987 for 13 episodes from DIC and Toei, with Kitty and friends spoofing fairy tales in paired 11 minute shorts. Hello Kitty and Friends followed through the 1990s with dubbed Sanrio shorts, then Paradise arrived 2000 to 2001 with exploration lessons from Enoki and Sanrio.
The runs share Kitty, Mimmy, Tuxedo Sam and My Melody but reset framing from theater to travel to school. Tara Strong debuted in Furry Tale Theater, while later runs lean on preschool pacing. Supercute Adventures and Super Style continue online as shorts outside these TV lists.
Good to know
Any series can start viewing since parodies reset, but release order shows the shift from fairy spoof to life lesson formats clearly. Furry Tale Theater pairs two shorts per half hour, so episode counts vary by guide. Paradise totals vary by version while the 2000 to 2001 window holds across sources.
