Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi follows cartoon versions of Japanese pop duo Ami Onuki and Yumi Yoshimura touring America with manager Kaz. Renegade Animation made 39 episodes of 22 minutes, or 117 seven minute segments, across three seasons of 13 each.
Season 1 ran November 2004 to March 2005, season 2 from April to November 2005, and season 3 from February to June 2006, with five episodes first unaired in the US. A 2003 test pilot surfaced on Vimeo in 2018. The crew confirmed cancellation in October 2006 after a management shakeup.

There is no story order for this show. Every segment stands alone on tour, so release order is about watching the animation loosen up, not following a plot. Watch the pilot as an extra, then seasons 1 through 3. No reboot is on any network slate as of September 2026 despite fan pages asking for one.
