About Lauren Faust
Lauren Faust shaped Foster Home for Imaginary Friends before creating My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic, which ran nine seasons from 2010. She then developed Super Best Friends Forever shorts and the 2019 DC Super Hero Girls reboot about teen heroes at Metropolis High.
The shows share bright staging and team comedy but live apart. Friendship Is Magic has its own Equestria Girls films, while Super Hero Girls has its own shorts and films. Release order keeps each school and pony cast intact without mixing their separate worlds.
Good to know
Do not merge the worlds into one timeline. Watch Foster era work first only if you collect it, then Friendship Is Magic, then Super Hero Girls. The Equestria Girls films slot after early Friendship Is Magic seasons as side trips, since they follow the same students through a portal. The shorts can wait until after each main run.
