About Madeline
Madeline follows brave Madeline with Miss Clavel and eleven classmates across Paris trips from 1988 in Ludwig Bemelmans style. The 1988 to 1991 specials set tiger, rescue and London trips with rhyme narration and watercolor looks.
The 1993 series runs three seasons of weekly trips, Lost in Paris from 1999 adds a family-search film with gypsy plots, and the 2000 to 2001 series closes the run. Watch in release order because house rules repeat. The run closed in 2001 apart from the 1998 live film kept outside. DIC and Cinar animation keeps watercolor Paris looks throughout.

Release order is the only path for Madeline because trips are standalone and rhyme couplets stay fixed throughout. Start with the specials for house rules and Paris setup, then take series seasons and Lost in Paris freely. Any trip works alone once Miss Clavel routines and rhymes are known. Rhyme narration stays constant across trips.
