About Rupert
Rupert from Nelvana ran 65 episodes over 5 seasons about Rupert Bear in Nutwood with Bill Badger. Season 1 ran 13 episodes September to December 1991 with Nutwood setup. Seasons 2 to 3 added 26 1992 to 1994 with Toyland and China trips. Seasons 4 to 5 closed 26 1994 to 1997 with magic scarf arcs.
Stories stand mostly alone with Tourtel charm, so any order works, but broadcast shows animation polish. No revival has aired since 1997, so these five are complete. Each episode runs 25 minutes with gentle quests.
Good to know
Watch seasons in broadcast order since Nutwood friends and scarf stack lightly. Each episode runs 25 minutes with song free storytelling. Season 1 teaches Bear family fastest, later seasons add world travel. The show targets ages 4 plus with mild peril. All stream on kids platforms with DVD sets out. Tourtel books hold more Nutwood tales after.
