About The Wild Thornberrys
The Wild Thornberrys runs five seasons from 1998 to 2004 with Eliza's animal-talking gift secret through the documentary travels. The Movie in 2002 sends her after the cheetah cub Tally against Sloan with the gift exposed mid-film. Rugrats Go Wild in 2003 strands both families together as the crossover finale to both film runs.
Release order keeps every beat: the series establishes the gift rules, the Movie tests them by exposure, and the crossover assumes both casts known. The crossover also closes the Rugrats film run, so it doubles in that guide. No revival has aired for either family since.
Good to know
Watch the series, then its Movie, then the Rugrats crossover last. The Movie's gift exposure only matters with five seasons of secrecy behind it, and the crossover's island plot needs both families known. The crossover's Odorama gimmick is a footnote rather than a viewing factor. Rugrats viewers can treat the same film as that run's closer too.
