About Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart
Mao Mao follows samurai cat Mao Mao with Badgerclops and Adorabat protecting Pure Heart Valley. Season 1 ran 40 episodes from July 1, 2019 to July 17, 2020 with a sneak peek June 2019. The finale titled Strange Bedfellows closed the run.
A second season was announced in 2020 with an animatic, but Cartoon Network shelved it and removed the show from Max in August 2022. Treat the 40 episodes as the complete run. Watch in broadcast order. The monster and Sky Pirates threads only resolve across the full season.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order worth listing. Episodes play in intended broadcast order with light continuity, so release order and story order match. The shelved second season never aired and holds no episodes to list, so no null-year entry sits here. Pilots and shorts are extras after the 40, not required starts.
