About Roughnecks
Roughnecks follows Rico and the Roughnecks against the bugs across eight campaigns. The Pluto Campaign opens in 1999 at the research station, Hydora moves underwater, and Tophet burns through desert hives. Tesca closes the first year in caverns.
Zephyr returns in 2000 with gas cities, Klendathu lands on the homeworld, Trackers splits the squad through swamps, and Homefront ends at Earth orbit. The forty episodes aired in syndication from 1999. The films stay separate, so this animated run stands alone.
Good to know
Watch the campaigns in air order since the squad and bug types build that way well. Pluto first sets the power suits and ranks for all. Tesca and Klendathu pair as the hive peaks to give full focus here. The run is closed after 2000 with no further order needed at all today. Keep the episode guide handy since the arcs span forty parts.
