About Sealab 2021
Sealab 2021 was created by Adam Reed and Matt Thompson, reusing footage from Hanna-Barbera's 1972 Sealab 2020 with new comic dialogue. The run totals 52 episodes: three premiered on Cartoon Network in December 2000, and the rest aired on Adult Swim from September 2, 2001 to April 24, 2005. Continuity resets almost weekly, with the station destroyed or the crew killed whenever the joke requires it.
Watch the four seasons in air order. Captain Murphy (Harry Goz) leads until Goz's death in 2003, after which retired coach Tornado Shanks (Michael Goz) takes command. The finale, Legacy of Laughter, aired April 24, 2005.
