About Super Friends
The 1973 series pairs Superman, Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman with junior trainees in gentle rescue stories. The All-New hour from 1977 adds the Wonder Twins and broader villains, while Challenge of the Superfriends from 1978 sets the heroes against the Legion of Doom. The World's Greatest SuperFriends from 1979 rotates the lineup through mythic guest plots.
The 1980 series settles into weekly team-ups before the Super Powers revamp of 1984 sharpens the designs and retools the villains. Galactic Guardians closes the run in 1985 with Cyborg joining and firmer continuity. Watch in release order, since the tone and roster evolve steadily even though episodes rarely connect.
