About Teletubbies
Teletubbies follows Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po with Noo-noo in Teletubbyland. Series 1 from 1997 sets custard, Tubby toast and Magic Windmill rules across 365 tales with Ragdoll craft. The original run keeps the baby sun and voice trumpets.
The 2015 reboot returns with new Tiddlytubbies and touchscreen bellies into the 2020s. The 2022 Netflix run keeps the same short format with new sun babies. The show stays open with WildBrain orders, so broadcast order keeps each shift clear without a finale to aim for.
Good to know
Tales can be sampled freely, but start with the 1997 run to learn Teletubbyland rules. Later belly and trumpet gags only make sense after the base four seen. The reboot fits after the classics as a return rather than a season 6. Treat the show as open, since new tales keep getting ordered as of September 2026.
