About Wander Over Yonder
Wander Over Yonder aired on Disney Channel and XD from August 2013 to June 2016 with 43 episodes across two seasons. It follows optimist Wander and Sylvia helping planets against Lord Hater, then the far deadlier Lord Dominator in season two. Creator Craig McCracken planned three seasons around Dominator's fall and the Hater reformation.
Disney cancelled it after season two with the Dominator arc closed but the third-season plans unmade, leaving the finale warm yet open. The comics and shorts continue small adventures, but the TV run ends with Hater's turn rather than a full goodbye.
Good to know
Watch season one then season two in broadcast order, since Dominator's arrival and the Hater-Peepers fracture assume the goofy first year. Season one plays episodic on purpose before season two serializes, so push through to the greater Hater payoff. The shorts fit anywhere as bonuses with no story weight for the Dominator war.
