About Angry Birds
The Angry Birds Movie introduces Red, Chuck and Bomb defending Bird Island from Leonard's pigs, ending in an uneasy peace. The 2019 sequel forces birds and pigs together against Zeta's frozen island, with Silver and Courtney joining the team.
The third film arrives December 23, 2026 from Paramount with the same cast plus new voices. The TV series like Toons, Summer Madness and Mystery Island are standalone slapstick in alternate kid continuities. Watch the films in order and take the series any time as palate cleansers.
Good to know
The films run in one line while the series each reboot the birds for their own audience, so release order across the selected entries is the guide. Toons covers the classic run and Summer Madness and Mystery Island are kid-continuity reboots. The third film is dated December 23, 2026. Rovio is now a Sega subsidiary, but the film continuity is unchanged.
