About Yogi Bear

Yogi Bear debuted as a supporting segment on The Huckleberry Hound Show in 1958 and headlined his own show by 1961. The classic setup never changed: Yogi raids Jellystone Park picnic baskets while Ranger Smith tries to stop him and Boo-Boo plays conscience.

Later decades brought team shows like Yogi's Gang and Yogi's Treasure Hunt, the teen detective reboot Yo Yogi! (1991), the live-action mix film (2010), and Jellystone! (2021 to 2025), an ensemble revival that ended after three seasons and 77 episodes.

Good to know

Yogi's Ark Lark (1972), the Christmas specials (1980, 1982), Yogi the Easter Bear (1994) and the Laff-A-Lympics appearances (1977 to 1978) are optional extras. Jellystone! aired its final episodes on March 6, 2025 with no follow-up announced, so the franchise currently rests at completed.
