About The Zeta Project
The Zeta Project spins the synthoid Zeta out of Batman Beyond into his own Kids WB run with runaway Ro. Season 1 aired 12 episodes January to August 2001, and season 2 aired 14 more March to August 2002, for 26 total. The infiltration of the week format hides a steady Bennett pursuit arc.
Zeta debuted in the Batman Beyond episode Zeta, then returned in the season 3 episode Countdown. The Zeta episode Shadows aired the same day as Countdown with Batman guest starring. Kids WB cancelled it after two seasons. Watch both seasons straight since the Bennett hunt never resets.
Good to know
Release order is the story order. The Bennett pursuit and the Selig search stack across both seasons, so skipping breaks the chase logic. The Batman Beyond episodes Zeta and Countdown slot before season 1 as the origin, with Shadows best watched in release spot. The show is cancelled with no revival, which leaves the 26 episodes plus crossovers as the set.
