About Amanda the Adventurer
Amanda the Adventurer is a VHS puzzle horror trilogy by MANGLEDmaw published by DreadXP. A 2022 jam Pilot Episode became a full game April 25, 2023. Part 3 from November 2025 closes at the Hameln facility with console ports May 2026. Each game runs escape room puzzles where tape clues solve room objects. The trilogy bundles all three with a demo prologue for part 3. No further games had been announced as of October 2026.
Good to know
Play Pilot, then 1, 2, 3 in order. The attic tapes teach the answer mechanic that the library assumes. Part 2 barely escapes with the masked woman, which part 3 continues directly. The part 3 prologue demo fits before the full game. Consoles got part 3 in May 2026, any platform works for story, with PC holding the demo.
