About Another Code
Another Code: Two Memories, sold as Trace Memory in North America, arrived March 2005 on DS with Ashley Robbins hunting her father on Blood Edward Island. Another Code: R - A Journey into Lost Memories arrived January 2009 on Wii moving Ashley to Lake Juliet two years later. Both were Cing adventures with photo and device puzzles.
Another Code: Recollection arrived January 2024 on Switch remaking both games with new visuals and voice acting. No new original entry has been announced. The two stories form one father search with a firm close in R.
Good to know
Release order is story order with a two-year gap between games. R assumes you know the island outcome, so do not start there. Recollection replaces both originals for new players with quality of life fixes, so pick either originals or remake, not both back to back. With Cing closed and Nintendo publishing the remake, 2024 is the current end.
