About Chibi-Robo!
Chibi-Robo is Nintendo's tiny robot housekeeper line: clean floors, climb furniture and manage battery watts across offbeat family stories. The GameCube original (2005) is the beloved classic, Park Patrol (2007) takes the park-conservation route on DS, and the series veers into camera play with Photo Finder (2013) and the divisive platformer Zip Lash (2015).
Release order works, with the original as the essential start and the sequels as experiments of varying success. Skip disbanded after Zip Lash underperformed, so the series ends there for now. Each game stands alone, connected by Chibi-Robo units and Telly Vision rather than plot.
Good to know
Park Patrol's flower-restoration gameplay differs sharply from the original's housekeeping, which surprises newcomers: both are valid, neither predicts the other. Photo Finder leans on the 3DS camera in ways that have not aged well. Zip Lash's genre switch to 2D platforming disappointed fans and effectively paused the franchise. No new game has been announced since 2015, so the four entries are the complete set.
