About Chivalry
Chivalry is Torn Banner multiplayer hack and slash with no campaign. Age of Chivalry arrived 2007 as a free Half-Life 2 mod by the same team. Medieval Warfare arrived October 16, 2012 on PC with console ports in 2014 and 2015. Deadliest Warrior arrived November 14, 2013 as standalone expansion tied to Spike TV with samurai, spartan and viking classes.
Chivalry 2 arrived June 8, 2021 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox with cross play on Unreal Engine 4. The fiction covers Agatha Knights versus Mason Order civil war, then Agatha versus Tenosia 20 years later. Chivalry 2 remains live with updates, but no sequel has been announced.
Good to know
Release order matches story order, though no campaign requires strict order. Start with Medieval Warfare for the base classes, add Deadliest Warrior for the extra factions, then move to Chivalry 2 as the active game. The 2007 mod is optional history. Jump anywhere for multiplayer, but keep 2012 to 2021 for the fiction.
