Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a 2025 turn based role playing game from Sandfall Interactive, released on April 24. Each year the Paintress erases everyone of a falling age, and Expedition 33 sails to kill her before its members vanish. Verso, Maelle, Lune, Sciel and Monoco blend real time dodges with classic command menus across a painterly world.
There is no sequel, only one expedition growing by patches, so play the base game straight through from the prologue to the Paintress. Early zones teach parry timing and pictos builds, while late acts demand full party synergy. Release order is the play order: the 2025 game first, then any later updates in turn.
