About Combat Mission
Combat Mission from Battlefront launched in 2000 with Beyond Overlord across Normandy bocage and towns with WeGo orders. Barbarossa to Berlin from 2002 adds East Front snow and steppes with new guns. Afrika Korps from 2003 continues with desert tanks and dunes plus supply.
Battle for Normandy, Fortress Italy, Red Thunder, Black Sea, Shock Force 2 and Cold War continue through 2021 with modern Syria and Fulda gaps. No sequel was dated by September 2026, so the run stands open with mods ahead. Each front needs recon halves first.
Good to know
Play Beyond Overlord then Barbarossa then Afrika Korps then Normandy onward in order since WeGo orders and spotting carry over directly each front. Later fronts assume you know the S1 bocage hull downs and S2 steppe rushes from early wars. Tactics reset each front but the WeGo clock builds throughout. Treat Cold War as the latest pause while Battlefront weighs more fronts.
