About Dark Age of Camelot
Dark Age of Camelot launched October 2001 with Albion, Hibernia and Midgard realm war. Shrouded Isles (2002) added six classes, three races and new lands per realm with graphics engine upgrade, winning expansion awards.
Trials of Atlantis (2003) added underwater zones, Master Levels and Artifacts with Greek and Egyptian figures. Later Catacombs, Darkness Rising and Labyrinth expanded further, with 2019 progression servers replaying classic plus Isles. Play base first for RvR basics, then Isles and Atlantis for high level content. The game stays live under Broadsword.
Good to know
Release order shows realm content growing from 2001 to 2003 without blocking newcomers. Start with classic or progression servers if you want paced RvR and old frontiers polling. Add Shrouded Isles for new races and Avalon dungeons, then Atlantis for Master Levels last. The series stays ongoing with community votes on Old Frontiers return.
