About The Lord of the Rings Online
The Lord of the Rings Online Shadows of Angmar (2007) opens Eriador from Shire to Angmar at level fifty. Mines of Moria (2008) adds Moria and Lothlorien with Rune keeper and Warden plus Legendary Items to level sixty.
Siege of Mirkwood (2009) adds southern Mirkwood and Dol Guldur with skirmish repeatables to level sixty five. Later Rise of Isengard, Riders of Rohan and Helm Deep continue the epic. Play Shadows first for Shire to Angmar fellowship beats, then Moria and Mirkwood for underground and siege arcs. The game stays live under Standing Stone.
Good to know
Release order follows Fellowship geography from Eriador into Moria and Mirkwood. Start with Shadows of Angmar for Shire tutorial that teaches epic books. Add Moria for Legendary Items that define later builds, then Mirkwood for skirmishes last among the three. The series stays ongoing with later expansions after Mirkwood kept optional here.
