About Deep Silver

Deep Silver publishes zombie co-op and open-world comedy. Dead Island brought first-person resort crafting in 2011. Metro Last Light continued tunnel stealth in 2013. Saints Row 4 sent the gang to alien simulation the same year.

Dead Island 2 returned to Los Angeles slaying in 2023 after a long delay. Playing in release order shows melee crafting maturing while satire scales up. Newcomers can start with Dead Island 2 for modern controls, since stories do not connect across franchises. Metro rewards stealth and supply care, while Saints Row rewards wild powers and open play.

Good to know

Play in release order. Dead Island and Saints Row do not share continuity, so no cross-franchise order exists. Within Dead Island, play 1 before Riptide and 2. Within Metro, Last Light follows 2033. Saints Row 4 works standalone from earlier gang entries for new players. Co-op teams should pick Dead Island 2 first for active matchmaking and clear quest flow.
