About Don't Starve
Don't Starve arrived April 23, 2013 with Wilson in the Constant. Reign of Giants added seasons in 2014. Shipwrecked followed in 2015 with boats. Hamlet landed in 2018 with pig towns, while Together opened standalone multiplayer in 2016.
Klei updates Together with new bosses and events into recent years. No new single-player sequel was dated. Play the original first, then the DLC worlds, then Together. Each keeps hunger, sanity, and night rules with new maps. The boss seasons add Deerclops and Bearger hunts with item tech trees.
Good to know
There is no shared campaign since runs reset, so release order is the systems path. Solo first teaches hunger clocks. Shipwrecked teaches boats. Hamlet teaches towns. Together teaches co-op revives. DLC order follows release: Giants, then Shipwrecked, then Hamlet, with Together alongside. The list ends at five until Klei dates a next world.
